Week 1 - GET

I went to bed praying for you, and I woke up with you on my heart. I am so excited for you, and so proud!

The word of the day is get.

The old Dylan song says "...you can't always get what you want....."

Fortunately, that's true, you can't. But we can always get what we need.

We will always get the very best that the Father has for us.

Get it?

Got it?

Good!

I got it! I got it! I got it!

Git (get) 'r done.

Get what you deserve.

Get to bed.

Get up and go.

Gonna get 'cha good.

Get on your horse.

Get up Neo!

GET, v.t.  To procure; to obtain; to gain possession of, by almost any means.

So, what are you trying to get out of school? Wisdom? A degree? And what are you willing 

to do to get it? Here's how it works:

Wisdom first.

Understanding second.

Knowledge last.

You are going to a place of knowledge. You will get facts from this institution. That is wisdom.

When you do the study you will get understanding.

When you practice and pursue the goal you will get knowledge.

You may not get it at first, but stick with it, you will!

Proverbs 4:5-9

Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.

Forsake her not, and she shall keep thee; love her, and she shall preserve thee.

The beginning of wisdom is , Get wisdom; and with all thy getting get understanding.

Exalt her, and she shall promote thee; she shall bring thee to honour when thou dost embrace her.

She shall give to thy head a garland of grace; a crown of glory will she bestow upon thee.

I know that you are going to excel at whatever you put your hand to.
