Week 15 - WHY A STAR?

WHY A STAR?

A Star Is Born
Stars In Her Eyes
Star Light, Star Bright, The First Star I See Tonight
Starlet
Shooting Star
Starry Eyed
It Is Written In The Stars
The Brightest Star In The Sky
The Morning Star
Starry, Starry Night
Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star
The Sun, The Moon, The Stars
When You Wish Upon A Star

Elohim made the two great lights: the great light, the sun, to rule the day, and the small light, the moon, to rule the night, -- and he made the stars.

YHVH said to Abraham, “Look now toward the heavens.
Number the stars, if you are able to number them.
So will your seed be!”

YHVH said to Abraham,

”in one of those stars all families of the earth will be blessed.”

Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea,
in the days of Herod the king,
behold, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem,
saying, “Where is he who was born King of the Jews?
For we saw his star when it rose and we have come to worship him”

The promise of blessing made to Abraham was born in one star.

Like shooting stars, many great men have come and gone.

The promised life of one man,
Jesus,
was the first of many stars of blessing born in the night.

A JOURNEY TO THE STAR

MEDITATE ON THIS FOR A WHILE.

THE SPEED OF LIGHT IS 186,000 MILES PER SECOND.
THAT’S FAST!

A LIGHTYEAR IS THE DISTANCE A LIGHT TRAVELS IN ONE YEAR.
IN ONE YEAR LIGHT WILL TRAVEL SIX TRILLION (6,000,000,000,000) MILES.
THAT’S FAR!

OUR MILKY WAY GALAXY IS 100,000 LIGHTYEARS WIDE!
THAT IS 600,000 TRILLIONS OF MILES.
THAT’S WIDE!

THERE ARE BILLIONS OF GALAXIES IN OUR VAST UNIVERSE.
THAT’S TOO MANY TO COUNT IN MANY LIFETIMES!

THE LIGHT THAT YOU SEE FROM STARS AT NIGHT MAY HAVE TAKEN BILLIONS OF YEARS TO REACH US.
SO ACTUALLY, WHAT YOU SEE AT NIGHT, WHEN YOU LOOK AT A STAR, IS THE HISTORY OF THAT STAR.

IF WE WERE STARS, WHAT HISTORY WOULD OUR LIGHT REVEAL TO THOSE WHO VIEW IT?

JESUS SAID; “YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD……LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE BEFORE MEN IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS, AND GLORIFY YOUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN.”

LIVING TO GLORIFY YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER WILL PRODUCE LIGHT IN YOUR LIFE.
THE LIGHT IN YOUR LIFE WILL BE A STAR.
YOUR LIFE WILL BE A STAR,
A HISTORY,
A WITNESS,
A TESTIMONY,
TO THE BLESSING OF THE FATHER IN YOUR LIFE.

MANY YEARS FROM NOW,
WHEN YOU LOOK BACK ON YOUR LIFE,
WHAT STAR WILL YOU SEE?

THE END
OR, IS IT THE BEGINNING?

Week 14 - A New Song In My Heart

And he hath put a new song in my mouth, praise unto our God.
Many shall see it, and fear, and shall confide in YHVH.
(Psalm 40:3)

Light At The Speed Of Love

I was created in darkness.
Blinded by all the lies.
I looked to You and I heard your Word
"my child just trust in me".

(chorus)
Light at the speed of love...
That's what true life is made of
Light at the speed of love...
That's what true love is made of..

Spiraling down a river of bad decisions,
I finally got it right.
I cried to the God of Heaven
and then I saw the light.
(chorus)

The vices of sin do not let go without a fight.
A fight I lost time and time again.
I called to my Father in heaven
and the forces of heaven to me He sent.
Despair is now gone.
Hope against Hope in its place.
(chorus)

His light still shines through my darkness
The rivers of life still topple the walls around my heart.
My Father's will is where I will start.

(chorus)

Week 13 - A Christmas Story

The children of Israel were buried in the darkness of Egyptian slavery. YHVH Elohim thundered on to the scene through his servant Moses:
"Let there be light, and set my people free!"

During the Roman Empire, the children of Israel were crushed by the darkness of slavery to the letter of the law: they were slaves to a law that was given through Moses to keep them free. YHVH Elohim sent his only son, Jesus, to be the light in that dark world. The keepers of the law crushed Jesus and crucified him. But, as that seed  fell to the earth and died, it brought forth a great tree of life and has produced fruit for the kingdom of God into the ages upon ages.

This world is in the darkness of slavery once more. The people of our present world have been seduced by all the trappings of this culture: the government will be your provider; your career will give you money to buy all the stuff that will satisfy your desires; and your religion will be your spiritual food and entertainment. But we have become slaves to the government that was designed to protect our freedom.  We work for industries that take our valuable time and give us little money, and that money will perish when you use it. We are enslaved to a religion that whispers of the mercy and grace of god, and shouts from the housetops of the same god who is angry and coming in anger and judgement with fire on the men of this world.

We are the light of this world. We have the message of Christmas: you must be born from above! We are the sons and daughters of the heavenly Father. Our freedom is guaranteed by the law of the spirit of life. Our souls are satisfied when we do the work of our Father, and finish his will in our life. We are the true worshipers who worship the Father in spirit and truth.

The massive debts and deficits of this culture cannot quench the gift of love and freedom poured out to us without measure from the Father.

Merry Christmas

Finish the Race
Finish Line
Hare and Tortoise
Finish Strong
Don't Look To The Left
Don't Look To The Right
Focus
Keep Your Eye On The Finish Line
It Is Not Always How You Start The Race
It Is Finished!
Finish It Off
Don't Stop Till You Cross The Finish Line
Finish
The End Is Near
The Finish Protects The Work
Finish What You Started
When You Have Done All You Can Do - Stand
Are We There Yet?
From Start To Finish
No More Pit Stops
Are You Finished
We've Only Just Begun
Down But Never Out
Finish With A Flurry

I have observed and I have experienced this phenomenon:
At the time that I need legs of steel;
At the time when I need the most strength;
At the time when I need a positive attitude;
At the time when I need to really focus;
At the time that I need total concentration;
It is usually at this time that my body feels fatigued and my mind gets flooded with negative thoughts:
I am so tired, I just want to sleep;
I am afraid to get a bad grade;
This is never going to end;
Why am I doing this?;
If the teacher was better I wouldn't be having all this struggle;
I can't wait for Christmas break;
I hate this!

Well, in no time at all it will be the end of Christmas break.
The last toast will have been raised to the new year.
The last gift will be returned for something that fits better.
You will hug all your friends and family goodbye.
You will be on the ride home for next semester.
You will be ready to face a new challenge.

But now....
Now you need to muster the strength to finish strong.
Now you need a clear mind to finish on course.
Now you need to focus and concentrate to finish every task.
Now you need to make time for rest to finish smiling.
Now you need to eat well to finish healthy.
Where does this strength come from to finish victorious?

This strength comes from deep within you.
This strength comes from God in you!
This strength comes from taking time to wait on God.

Isaiah 40

(27) Why sayest thou, Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from YHVH, and my right is passed away from my ?
(28)  Dost thou not know, hast thou not heard, that the everlasting Elohim, YHVH, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not nor tireth? There is no searching of his understanding.
(29)  He giveth power to the faint; and to him that hath no might he increaseth strength.
(30)  Even the youths shall faint and shall tire, and the young men shall stumble and fall;
(31)  but they that wait upon YHVH shall renew their strength:
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not tire;
they shall walk, and not faint.

Take a few minutes to wait before the Father. He has equipped you to accomplish every task.

He will give you the strength and determination and heart to finish victorious!
Wait on him.

Face

 this last week everything that you have in you!

I love you.
